The Survival Guide was created to let people know what it is really like in Shekou from a foreigners perspective. It is based on Tim's ten years of living in China and traveling around Asia including the last two years living and working in Shenzhen. It covers a diverse range of subjects and is designed to be read in conjunction with the information on this site.
The guide is a behind the scenes document written in a light hearted manner and has been well received by newcomers as it answers many of the questions that have had them scratching their heads since they arrived.
